Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.

  • Yahoo To Turn Off Site Explorer
    Yahoo Site Explorer, which went live in September 2005 is now going to be shut down by the end of this year...
  • GM Of CO.CC Argue's Google Delisting
    James Kim, the General Manager of CO.CC posted a complaint about the removal in the Google Webmaster Help forums. James Kim said it is not the "right decision" and thinks Google should take "responsibility for their losses" incurred by the site owners on those domains.
  • Google's Similar Pages Moved
    There are complaints in the Google Web Search Help forums that Google removed the similar link found near the cache link in the search results. I personally do not see them anymore either - although I am not sure if it was removed during or before the new design launched a couple weeks ago...
